This wasn’t THAT long ago in the grand scheme of things — certainly less than a century. Zoba Dikele is old, but not THAT old. Things seem less cosmopolitan because she grew up out in the sticks. Weyland’s Bay is the closest city and it’s more than a day. For hard-working rural folk, that might as well be a lifetime.
