Creating gods and religions is one of my favorite parts of fantasy world-building — I love doing it myself and I love other settings where I think it’s done well. The Lord of the Rings, The Belgariad,. Eberron — these series, campaign settings all work extra well for me because of the myths within the myths. I slaved over the title “Great Throne,” although it came to me rather quickly in the end. Certainly it’s a better name than “Divine Enchiridia,” which is what I called our holy texts. (I liked it back in the day but I don’t really ever want to type it out again, so…)
