Kellarny’s not what I would consider a major character, but I liked writing him; his snippets of colorful speech were fun to come up with. Also, his seeming loyalty to Hunter made him sympathetic in my brain. But I always knew that he was an inmate in the world’s most awful prison. He needed to deserve to be there. This little bit of dialogue, revealing his true nature, was actually hard to write as a result. I didn’t want to know these truths about a character I had come to like.
