Lourda Pel has access to divine magic because she once held fairly high rank in the Church, but despite that, I have it in my head that I want her to be one of the most normal characters in the comic. She’s not caught up in revenge plots or high crimes — she just had a shitty experience at work and now has a crappy job to make ends meet…and it makes her happy to learn about her sister’s fate. It’s been years since she last heard from Maliya, and after a period of war, she already suspected her death. Now, at least she has closure…and Hunter’s the one that gave it to her.
