This page is one of the rare times that I wish we were making this in full color. We could use color to make it clear that the monster in Panel Two is a different one than that in Panel One. (I just have to hope that the tentacle makes it clear enough to the people who don’t read commentary.)
Apologies for posting this so late in the day — Will and I have a huge and very hush-hush new project and it was dominating my thoughts yesterday when I should have been setting this up.
