There’s something kind of awesome seeing our hero do battle with a character that I created 25 years ago. The Brond Stonefist of my younger days, a NPC in my college D&D campaign, actually strongly resembled our latter-day version, although the NPC at least wore a shirt…and I never pictured him having liver spots. I’d be lying if I said that Brond Stonefist means as much to me as Zezem the Cruel does to Will, though.
