The relationship between Jada Nilthrex and Madzinah Golbrith is a complicated, but not original, one. Madzinah would be happier if her daughter had settled down and married a rich man and THAT was how she was getting grandchildren. Instead, Jusadva has taken up with an assassin, and worse than that, another woman. Oh, and she’s pregnant by Hunter Black, a man she didn’t like as one of her husband’s business associates. It galls Madzinah to need Jada…and it galls Jada to have to look after someone that doesn’t approve of her.
