You may or may not know this, but The Empire Strikes Back is my all-time favorite movie. I don’t think Star Wars is my favorite franchise any more, the MCU has pretty much taken the top spot, but nothing…not Winter Soldier, not Endgame…has even come close to pushing Empire out of that top spot. So when the good people at Fanbase Weekly approached me about joining their 40th Anniversary Retrospective, I couldn’t possibly pass that up.
