Ever since Maliya returned, she’s had some sort of agenda — it has never been to kill Hunter, but it sure seems like it’s been to torture him, to deny him…and that’s finally penetrating his thick skull. (Hunter’s not stupid…but he definitely lacks emotional intelligence.)
