This is fun, I finally get to get back to naming new characters and digging up the old (and new) D&D characters of friends for the comic (with permission, of course). Ruhkahl is an old character of a buddy of mine that I haven’t seen in a long time, although we’ve been trying to catch up with one another. It’s no exaggeration to say that my career probably wouldn’t be where it is now if not for him. Brilka Luca is the recent D&D character of my friend Tilly Bridges, an amazing trans woman writer and gamer who happens to write for the Star Trek Adventures game along with her wife and writing partner, Susan.
I loved having Ruhkahl throw Hunter just that tiny bit of shade in Panel Two.
