For me, as the writer of the comic, this page is a masterclass in how Will does what he does. There’s a lot going on here that demonstrates his process, if you know what to look for. (I ought to know what to look for after damn near thirteen years.)
There are people out there who want us to tell the story of why The Revenger doesn’t have the ornament dangling from the pommel any more…I want to tell the story of WHY THE MOON IS ALWAYS GODDAMN FULL.
