Just a little note about Maliya’s appearance: I didn’t want her to look as she did before. I don’t normally dictate costuming decisions in this comic but I was explicit that Maliya needed to looks more inhuman than before, to suggest that maybe there is a limit to how many times she can be resurrected before her body fails to regenerate. And I didn’t want her wearing the same intimidating suit of armor as before — in my mind that was Zezem the Cruel exerting too much control over her. She’s at her best when she’s more lithe and mobile.
