Brother Bashan’s shapeshifting abilities have grown beyond anything he could have done in life — now that he is undead and enthralled by Zezem the Cruel. Pain is the thing that would have stopped him from becoming something like the tentacle beast in Panel Two back in the day — but Zezem the Cruel doesn’t care about Bashan’s pain. (If he even feels pain now.)
